Projects based in our core department
The animation project “Under the Whispering Sky” is in pre-production, using a hybrid stop-motion technique, combining stop-motion and 2D frame-by-frame animation, with the collaboration of a team of 12 students from Isfahan University of Art. Its subject is related to a child with autism. The script and decoupage of the project have been fully developed and finalized, and the stages of designing characters, spaces, and scenes are being completed.
One of the animation production companies based in the Accelerator Department of Kiagostar Innovation Center is Zipak. With the help of Kiagostar, this company’s research and animation production teams are currently producing a series about Shahnameh. Emphasizing the authenticity of the text and careful analysis of the characters in terms of clothing, tools, speech, behavior, rituals, and linguistics. Our goal is to produce a valuable series using myths related to Iran for children and young people. An effort has been made to design messages that are needed by today’s society, such as patriotism, hope, trust, reflection, etc., in a set of animations, visual and audio appeals, facial expressions, backgrounds, and special effects that are processed with the taste of today’s children and adolescents to have a complete impact on the audience.

The game project “The Secret of the Floating City” is a 2D platformer that focuses on adventure, combat, and puzzle elements. This project is being implemented by a team of 6 game development students under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Taheri, a faculty member of Isfahan University of Art, and is currently in the pre-production stage. The game script of the project has been fully developed and finalized, and the gameplay and game stages are being designed. The character designs are also in the final stages of completion. In addition to these, the interface and user experience (UI/UX) design is also being carried out to provide a coherent, user-friendly structure that is in harmony with the narrative and visual space of the game.
